Title: In the Bulrushes
Description: In Exodus 2:1-10, we learn of the humble arrival of a Hebrew boy, marked for death by Pharaoh. His mother, afraid for her son, placed him in a reed basket and sent him into the Nile River. As we know, Pharaoh's daughter soon finds the boy, names him Moses and unknowingly beckons Moses' biological mother to nurse him as he grows.
This piece reminds us that even in the thick of the reeds, the dangers of the waters, the uncertainty of the unknown, we can find and see beauty. For our Father is one of mercy, compassion, and unpredictable twists in our life stories. What lies beyond the bulrushes?
